My name is Colin Ryley and I am a Sound Designer and Composer for Film, TV and Video Games in Vancouver, Canada.
​
My introduction to sound started at a young age after being born to 2 musicians as parents. Around the age of 6, I started playing the piano. Eventually I progressed on to play the guitar, and continue to play both to this day. My passion for music quickly developed into a curiosity for audio engineering and I spent years polishing my creative skills and mixing techniques.
In 2018 I began to focus my pursuit on sound for film and video game production which is still my passion to this day. I graduated with Honours from Vancouver Film School in 2021.
Since then, I have been fortunate enough to work on productions for Netflix, Disney, Amazon Prime Video, Crave, Nickelodeon, and many more.

I have also had the honour to be a Sound Design judge for multiple events including POV Film Fest and T.O Webfest.
